Strengths and Weaknesses:
I think strengths, for me and probably some other members of my group is that everyone in it was very hard working and not lazy and we all got along with each other. Everyone in my group was very determined to get worked done as soon as possible as we fell far behind on blogging so we tried the best we could.

A weakness would be that we let the last of the filming get on top of us the problem the caused was that it delayed our blogging meaning that we was just wasting time when we final done and dusted the filming it was a relive as I could concentrate on my blogging.

Did your productions go to plan:
In some ways the beginning of our filming was perfect but when we filmed our phone call scene with our first actor (Leon Maddy) this didn't go to plan as it completely flopped on us so we looked for a new actor to play the role of Big J and we found Jelani Armstrong.

I think the editing worked very well, as soon as we started editing it didn’t give us any problems another thing that worked well was that our shots were very good apart from one little shot involving Luke and none of us picked up on it.

I think the only thing that didn’t work would be when we used Leon Maddy as Big J as we thought he fitted the description we were looking for but it wasn't to be so we looked around and we found the perfect person that fits the description.

What would I change if anything?
If anything I would probably change our genre to comedy as I like to be amused and I like making people laugh so I would have been happy if our group decided to do a comedy but it wasn’t going to happen due to majority vote, apart from that I enjoyed doing the filming editing and working with my group as they are very hard working easy to get along with and I could have been in a better group.

We used the camera shot well and we used the sound around us to make it look more realistic we also added a song to fit the genre of action/thriller. For example we filmed at specific times as we needed to shot our shots at night time as it got dark earlier we took advantage of this and it worked very well.

My own personal role was the cameraman shared between me and Luke as well as doing some editing which was shared out between me and Bianca so I think I was a producer/editor.

Today was the final day that we were allowed to do our clips so we had to make everything perfect as John was removing the clips from our computers so Rob could take it and mark it.

We all had a job to do Bianca's job was make sure that the clip ran smoothly with the cuts as well as the music Luke, Precious and me had to make sure that if there was anything wrong with our clips that we could try and fix it for example if Bianca thought we needed another song we would look for it and try add it in. luckily we all liked it and thought it was good and no changes should be made to it.

Rob had a final check on our work and thought it was very good and the only change we should make its cut the time on one of the clips by a few seconds so that it flowed more smoothly, we tried it and it looked nice and we decided that we liked it and we made the change, other than that nothing was wrong with it.

Today Bianca and I stayed behind after school as Rob told us it was the last week of editing and stuff so if we wanted to make changes we should do it now Luke and Precious had stuff to do me and Bianca said it was ok and we will stay behind. Bianca did the music as she found the perfect music to go with it, as well as this she did some of the text in the clip, we found it very hard to put the music on our clip, then Oscar and Jelani helped Bianca and me to put it on and make it flow with our short clip.

We really weren’t doing a lot today as most of the group were feeling a bit sluggish, we did a bit of editing but we really didn't do much more than that. We all decided that next lesson we all were going to do something even if someone couldn't be bothered this is how groups crumble.

Today we sat as a group and for the first 20 minutes of our lesson we trying to look for music that would fit our short clip, after this was done we started editing and we came across that the bit with the kidnapping of Chenai did not fit in with Jay leaving his estate so we had to cut from one to the other in order for this to make sense. The editing was mainly done by Bianca and me as Luke and Precious were looking for the music that we would use to make our clip more of an action/thriller genre.

Robert was looking at all the groups work and giving feedback on what worked well and what could be changed. We were told that our scenes fitted well together and our clip made sense, however the little bits of film we used in our clip were too long so Rob told us to make it shorter and it would be more effective he also picked up little mistakes we made on our shots and advice on how we could go back and make it better.

We really needed Rob’s view on our work or we would have continued with our filming making more mistakes, another way which his feedback helped us is that it showed us what we need to improve on so we could make our clip look better.

Today the group sat down and began do edit our new scene that we filmed together I was doing the editing and cutting to specific places which we decided looked best. While we were doing this we came across a small problem that we filmed Jay (Luke) opening the door with the wrong hand therefore we found it hard to change so it would adapt us so we had to film this again. When this was done we added it in and the first 45 seconds of our clip was looking very good as it runs very smoothly. I was very happy as we were working very hard to do this and we have overcome this problem.

Today we went and started filming our shots of our shots involving Jay (Luke) and big J (Jelani) in a phone call we were planning to do it outside or outside an estate, but after a while it didn’t work so we as a group decided that we would do it when Jay goes to his local gym for his workout. This would show him working out improving his strength trying to make a name for himself and he gets a call from big J and is frighten this brings out the sensitive and more scared Jay, the phone call involves the kidnapping of his sister Chenai played by Bianca.

This makes Jay very scared that he problems on the street has got his sister in a very tight situation which could be the result in her death.

Today I have been on YouTube to look for some clips from Films, TV-Shows that will help my group. Some of the clips I was looking at which I thought the group should use was an establishing shot I saw from a clip from Friends it showed Joey and chandler playing a game console and enjoying each other’s company this really caught my eyes so I thought it would be good if we used this, this gave us ideas on how we would approach a certain target audience.

Other clips where from Rush Hour and Ransom this focused on kidnapping and crime so we thought we could use key ideas from these movies and apply it to our short clip.
