Monday 8th december

We filmed the second part of our scene where it involved kidnappers, we used the outside of the college as our secondary school and we had help from students from our college who looked muscley and strong we got the to dress in black to make it look more realistic. As for the school children we made sure that they were dressed in school clothes and that they were acting like they were in school by carrying bags, and school stuff to make it seem as if they had just come out of school. We filmed from different angles to make sure that we had all the shots we needed.

Thursday 4th december

I have fallen a bit back on blogging thats why my dates are a bit jumbled but i am going to put the dates on top of my new posts hopefully it will make sense.

I think that Johns little session was very helpful as it helped me to understand the way to edit our preliminary task much better, and I know feel comfortable editing myself although sometimes I may need help.
I think I feel I understand the technical side a bit better know and I think I will try editing more often in my spare time to get the most out of it.

The genre of our short movie is Action.
The reason why me and my group chose this particular type of genre is that we all like Action/ Thriller genres and because they are cool and eye catching, we fought we should do this to quench out thrill buds, and create our own action movie.

Film Text we looked at was scripts from script-o-rama, and look at the main story of other movies in the same genre as us, some of the movies we looked at was Ransom and Rush Hour. these movies were very helpful in helping us to create the base of our short movie clip.

Sorry that I haven't blogged in ages the filming has really got on top of us, we are trying to make it look perfect. But it is not going as we planned we still need to film 1 more scene and the deadline is by the end of next week. As a group we are going to have to knuckle down and make sure we get everything done and dusted.
